Day2
When I was in high school, I had to take a drawing test for applying an art college in Korea.
It was a test to draw a plaster statue of a Greek hero. Students had to draw a perfect shape of it with pencil for about three hours.
They had to practice for as little as two years and as long as five years for that test.
I liked to draw since I was young, so I never thought of other options than art. but the training made me bored and hate it.
And the compulsion to draw a perfect form still remains with me. This is also the reason why I hesitate to draw. I didn't want to face that my drawing skills were not good.
I don't deny the beauty of perfect drawing.(Actually I love it!) But these days, I'm starting to childe-like drawing style cuz I can feel the freedom and energy. So this mission is very helpful to me.
Anyway, writing in English is another challenge for me.(It takes a lot more time to write than drawing. haha!)
It's been more than 10 years since I left the U.S. Please understand if my English is awkward. ;)
